Prof. Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya

Prof. Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya is a distinguished Nepalese academician, management scholar, and university administrator who served as the Vice Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University and was a long-serving professor at Tribhuvan University. With more than four decades of experience in management education, research, and academic leadership, he has made significant contributions to higher education in Nepal. Earlier, he also served as the Chief of Public Youth Campus, one of the leading constituent campuses of Tribhuvan University in Nepal.

Widely regarded as one of Nepal’s leading management scholars, Prof. Bajracharya earned his PhD in Corporate Cash Management from the University of Delhi. He has successfully supervised several PhD scholars associated with universities in Nepal, India, and the United States. Beyond academia, he has also worked as a consultant for organisations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, and USAID.

Prof. Bajracharya has also been actively associated with Buddhist education and peace studies initiatives in Nepal, including advisory roles at the Theravada Buddhist Academy. He has authored books on Production & Operations Management and Human Resource Management.
